DOWNLOADThere is some beautiful oceanside here in North Carolina, and in nearby South Carolina. We are blessed to be two hours away from Myrtle Beach... one of my favorite places! I'd hoped to go for Mother's Day this year, but as life would have it my darling husband is away helping his dad (not complaining though I do miss him) and... I have two extra babies.
Silly me volunteered to watch the twin, 1-year-old boys of a friend. I feel just a teeny, tiny bit sorry for myself and dug up this photo of me drinking a tall, cool, beer at Myrtle Beach. Notice my big boys holding the baby in the background? Don't they look happy??? Well. You know. You only turn 40 once. And I really love a nice cold beer.
