Showing off my Alpha - Falling into Fall

A little piggy told me that my Alpha is the best part of my final entry in SAS-y's Next Designer Contest. So I did my best, LOL, to do a little watermark & show off the full alpha:

Just click on any of the previews to go to my gallery at SAS-y and find the downloads. Either for the full Falling into Fall kit and/or just the Alpha.

Oh, LOL, shameless self-promotion here... VOTE for me if you like what you see! I would really love to be a Designer for SAS-y. Remember. Your VOTE matters (and not just there).

Another "Falling into Fall" Freebie

This Quickpage is a Freebie add-on to my Falling into Fall kit over at Stone Accents Studios (SAS). My whole kit is available, with download links, via SAS-y. Just click on the hyperlinks and surf on over to download the whole shebang!

And if you so desire, please VOTE for me: Piggyscraps "Falling into Fall"

A little teaser Freebie

I did it! I made it to Round 4. The contest at Stone Accents Studios is just consuming my life (well, that & my kids of course). Not just consuming, but kicking my butt as well. It's been a huge challenge to continue to create new & exciting full kits in such short time-frames. And while I'm tired, I've had a ball!

Up top there is a little quickpage I made for my kit "Falling into Fall". Sometime tomorrow the whole kit should be uploaded & ready for you to download via Stone Accents Studios. Definitely by 6 p.m. CST, that being the deadline and all. I'm hoping you'll be back here then, for the link and, hopefully, to vote for me. Seriously people, I'm loving this designing more every day and if there's any chance you think I have what it takes to be a designer, please considering voting for me.

You can click the Quickpage preview above, or click here for the 4share link to download my little teaser Freebie. Enjoy!

Family Tree Quickpage Freebie #2

Adorable baby he? That's my mom when she was about the same age as my little man is now. So weird to think of her as a baby once upon a time. I used bits-n-pieces of my Family Tree kit to create this quickpage freebie (minus the pic of my adorable mommy, of course).

You can download the freebie here, or by clicking on the pic above. If you are interested in the whole kit, it's available for Free by going to Stone Accents Studios. They are running a month long contest for their next designer. So not only will you find my Family Tree kit there, but also 19 other gorgeous kits... completely free!

Finally, if you can spare the time, give me a little VOTE in their contest. I'd greatly appreciate it!

Busy, busy post (scroll down for the freebie at the bottom LOL)

LOL getting tired of my Stone Accents Studio's post... bummer! I'm in Round Three & it's all just been submitted & ready for voting. I do, however, have some pity on y'all. Even those of you who don't feel like registering over there to download all the absolutely AMAZING kits the final contestants have compiled. For those of you who haven't registered (well, really, for anyone LOL) there's a freebie at the bottom. Go click on it & download away. For the rest...

It is week three at Stone Accents Studio (SAS) Next Designer Contest. This week the contest revolved around a palette of mochas & browns. I again struggled with these colors LOL. The theme was heritage/genealogy. I struggled with that too. As someone who has 50+ first cousins I gave up on tracking our heritage a long time ago (ever try to fill out one of those charts?). But once I got into it was fun & I did come up with some cool stuff that required new tricks on my part. Yay! The old dog learned new tricks!

As per last week, the download links are listed on my entry at Stone Accents Studio and will remain only there until the end of the contest on October 1. However, registering is completely FREE! And not only do you get access to download my full Family Tree kit previewed above, you also get access to all the other designers full kits. FREE!

In the meantime, what my kit contains:

15 papers
  • 5 plain-ish papers (there's some texture & stuff imbedded)
  • 11 patterned papers
24 Elements (counting all 4 photocorners as 1 element... they're all exactly the same)
  • 1 big, stitched bow
  • 3 smaller velvet bows
  • 1 distressed stamp/flourish
  • 1 pocketwatch sticker
  • 4 gold filigree photo corners
  • 1 journaling tag
  • 1 gold filigree doodad
  • 1 cluster wrapped frame
  • 3 other frames
  • 2 flowers
  • 1 charmed border
  • 1 torn & curled border
  • 1 frazzled border
  • 1 high-wheel bike border
  • 1 antique gold chain
  • 1 cameo
  • 1 oak tree "Family Tree" silhouette
  • 2 word arts:
"Memories of Family"
"Remember YOU Remember ME Remember FAMILY"

Quickpage
  • 1 quickpage shown above, designed for my immediate family

Please note that all my designs are 300 dpi and sized for 12X12 digital scrapping needs. Unless specifically listed, none of the files come with drop shadows seen in the preview. And, as always now, please leave me comments, suggestions, helpful hints or thank you's! I'd also love to see any LO's done with my designs.

And, please, if you can, go VOTE FOR ME, link will be up Monday at 6, CST. (my design is: Family Tree ---- Piggyscraps) over at Stone Accents Studio.

Week 2 Voting is OPEN!

LOL, I did a little bit of copy & pasting in this post so if you know the drill... please go VOTE FOR ME over at Stone Accents Studio. While you are at it you can download my quickpage previewed above from the link in my gallery for Beauty Unsurpassed.

The voting is over at Stone Accents Studio for their Next SAS-y Lady Contest, ie... their next Digital Scrapbooking designer that is. To you the FREEBIE hunter this is great news because each of the wanna-be designers (inclusive yours truly) had to design a full-size digital scrapbooking kit in order to compete for these coveted positions.

Each of these kits is free to download! There are some truly awesome kits there. All revolve around this weeks gorgeous palette of colors in hues of purples & greens. My kit can be seen in the preview above for the quickpage freebie or in my earlier posts, as well as over at the SAS-y forum. You can download my kit, including elements, via Stone Accents Studio my page there is at: Beauty Unsurpassed

As per last week, the download links are listed on my entry at Stone Accents Studio and will remain only there until the end of the contest on October 1. However, registering is completely FREE! All voting is done here: VOTE HERE and vote for me: Piggyscraps: Beauty Unsurpassed.

It's my birthday = FREEBIE for you!

It's my birthday! And actually it's that time in life where birthdays just aren't as looked-forward-to as they used to be. So I thought, let's give back a little this year. And one of my gifts is to you, my faithful follower (I'm assuming I have one Piggy Pal out there. One?).

I had some extra elements that didn't make it into my Beauty Unsurpassed kit at Stone Accents Studio. Rather than just letting them sit on my hard drive, I thought I'd pass them on as a FREEBIE for you. My birthday gift.

The bows & ties from
Beauty Unsurpassed are:

  • 4 bow tie's
  • 4 flowers with pearl-y, shiny centers
And I would be remiss here if I didn't thank the Fabulous Monica Larsen for her amazing actions.

Pretty like Tequila - mini kit FREEBIE

All those faded My Soldier designs crowding my desktop this past week had me a little gloomy. I needed a little sunshine. Though apparently what I really need was some tequila, LOL, but since I can't have that (I've got a nursling you know)... I made a little mini kit: Pretty like Tequila

  • 3 plain papers
  • 2 pattern papers
  • 1 glittery, circle-y flourish
  • 1 frame, with glittery circles and drops shadows
  • 1 plain, circle-y element
  • 1 glass-beaded bracelet element
  • 1 glittery bow
Please note that all my designs are 300 dpi and sized for 12X12 digital scrapping needs. Unless specifically listed, none of the files come with drop shadows seen in the preview. And, as always now, please leave me comments, suggestions, helpful hints or thank you's! I'd also love to see any LO's done with my designs.

And, please, if you can, go VOTE FOR ME (my design is: My Soldier, My Hero ---- Piggyscraps) over at Stone Accents Studio.

The Voting has BEGUN!

The voting over at Stone Accents Studio for their Next SAS-y Lady Contest, ie... their next Digital Scrapbooking designer that is. To you the FREEBIE hunter this is great news because each of the wanna-be designers (inclusive yours truly) had to design a full-size digital scrapbooking kit in order to compete for these coveted positions.

Each of these kits is free to download! There are some truly awesome kits there. All revolve around this weeks theme of Honor our Hero's. Quite apropos with 9/11 being on Thursday. My kit revolves around My Soldier, My Hero. In honor of my husband, my soldier, my hero. I posted a little preview of just the papers up above. I kinda feel a full kit preview is so cluttered you don't get a good idea of what it is really about. You can download my kit, including elements, via Stone Accents Studio my page there is at: My Soldier, My Hero

Now. If you love my kit, you can vote for me. It'd be okay with me you know. The downloading is free, even registration is free. You only need to register if you want to vote. But if you are into Digital Scrapbooking, Stone Accents Studio's is an awesome place to be. This month is their Birthday (and mine too, come to think of it) and they are giving away a TON of freebies & goodies.

My Soldier, My Hero - my contest entry at SAS-y

I did it! I thought just maybe I couldn't but I did it!!!! I've spent the last week designing a full digital scrapbooking kit for a contest at Stone Accents Studio. The winnerhead gets to be a designer for them. I so want to be the winnerhead!!!!

In the meantime, I'm absolutely ecstatic that I managed to do this. Even without winning this is a huge accomplishment for me and I'm so excited I did it. Anyway, I doubt I'll win. The winning is done by voting & considering my entry is my first ever post on their forum, I'm not gonna be Ms. Popular LOL. But I did it!

The theme for the first week is: Honor Our Hero's. All the kits by all the wanna-be designers are full kits and all are FREEBIES! This is a mega-bonanza for all you freebie hunters out there. Run, don't walk and download your little hearts out. Just be sure to give some love to all the aspiring designers. I can attest it's not an easy job, so let's not let it be a thankless one as well.

Here's the link, I think, to my entry: My Soldier, My Hero the download links are listed on my entry page, as are all the download links for all the entries.

11 Papers including:
  • 4 plain papers
  • 7 patterned papers
  • All are textured to give it an old-timey feel

Just for boys! Camo Dino's!

A while back I had a freebie I had a pretty good response to: Dino Mania, actually I'm pretty fond of Dino's myself (5 boys will do that to a person). Recently I saw a little boy's shirt with a camouflage dinosaur on it. And, wouldn't you know it, I couldn't stop thinking about it. So even though I'm in the midst of a big, big project. I had to redo the Dino Mania and make it Camo Mania!

As for the big, big project? I told myself I wasn't going to share. I wasn't going to peep a word (in cyberspace anyway) until I knew I could do it. And I don't know it. I haven't finished it yet. But I really, really want to. I want to give it the good ol' college try. Besides, if I finish it I will need all y'alls help. Because, you see, I'm trying out for a design spot at SAS-y (Stone Accents Studio).

They are having a big design contest, with over 40 people... EEEEEK! Not that they know yet that I'm trying, but I am sitting here at my desktop trying to cobble together the bestest kit ever. It's not as easy when it's an assignment. It's not as easy when it's someone else's theme. It's not as easy when it's a competition! The winner's get voted in (which is where all y'all come in). It's the Survivor of Digital Scrapbooking.

The theme for the first week is in the spirit of 9/11... Hero's. Being an army wife myself I know a little something about Hero's and, of course, my kit will revolve around Army Hero's. This is where the Camo Dino's come in. I had a camo paper, I had my dino templates, I had visions in my mind of camo dino's... and now you all have a FREEBIE: Camo Dino
  • 1 Camo T-rex sticker
  • 1 Camo Triceratops sticker
  • 1 Camo Stegasaurus sticker
  • 1 Camo Pteradactyl sticker
  • 1 Camo Brontosaurus sticker
  • 1 Camo-beribboned frame
Please note that all my designs are 300 dpi and sized for 12X12 digital scrapping needs. Unless specifically listed, none of the files come with drop shadows seen in the preview. And, as always now, please leave me comments, suggestions, helpful hints or thank you's! I'd also love to see any LO's done with my designs.

Baby Lyon - FREEBIE

It seems (thanks to all the Freebie Listing Goddesses out there!) that I'm getting a little more traffic than once upon a time. I'm guessing, hence, therefore, soforth, that not all y'all are totally familiar with my Quickpage Mini-Kit Freebie. So I'll 'splain it again...

I love Quickpages! But sometimes I just want a bit that I see on a quickpage and I get so frustrated when I have to buy/download/pester for the whole kit. Bada bing, bada bang... the Quickpage Mini-Kit Freebie was born. In my QM-K Freebies you get the Quickpage, duh, and all the bits-n-papers you see as well.

As for Baby Lyon, and please scroll down & read about "Lyon" before you correct my French LOL, I really liked my Lyon kit. I couldn't leave well enough alone. Plus I really needed to work on my flourish designing skills. Here it is, complete with flourish, my Baby Lyon Quickpage Mini-Kit including:

  • The Baby Lyon Quickpage previewed above
  • a torn-edge, polka dot paper
  • a bonus paper
  • the torn-edge element
  • the baby Lyon sticker
  • a wavy 4-frame frame
  • a flourish
  • a staple
  • a journaling block
Please note that all my designs are 300 dpi and sized for 12X12 digital scrapping needs. Unless specifically listed, none of the files come with drop shadows seen in the preview. And, as always now, please leave me comments, suggestions, helpful hints or thank you's! I'd also love to see any LO's done with my designs.
